New faces at NAACLS
|
In September 1996, the Clinical Assistant Programs Approval Review Committee (CAPARC) became NAACLS' newest review committee. We are pleased to introduce its members:
Mary Beth Fisk, MT(ASCP)
Ms. Fisk, CAPARC Chairman, is the Director of Education at the South Texas Blood and Tissue Center in San Antonio, Texas.
Joanne U. Cerrato, BS, MA, MT(ASCP)
Ms. Cerrato is the Department Chair of the Clinical Laboratory Science Department at Springfield Technical Community College in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Diana Mass, MA, MT(ASCP), CLS
Ms. Mass is the Program Director of the Clinical Laboratory Science Program at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. Ms. Mass served as a member of the NAACLS Board of Directors from 1988-1996.
Cecile Sanders, MEd, MT(ASCP)
Ms. Sanders is the Division Chair of Nursing and Health Technologies at Austin Comm-unity College in Austin, Texas. She is also an MLT Educator Member of the NAACLS CLSPRC.
Helen Wand, BS, MT(ASCP)SM
Ms. Wand is the Clinical Director of Phlebotomy at the Health Occupations Division at Clark College in Vancouver, Washington.
We are also pleased to introduce NAACLS' new Program Services Coordinator, Jennifer A. Beyer. Jennifer is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago and comes to us from the Human Resources Department at USRobotics. Jennifer will be coordinating programs in the CLT/MLT and HT/HTL levels.
