Don’t miss out! Attend a NAACLS workshop
by Megan Hennessy Eggert
Publications Coordinator

Have you ever attended or considered attending a NAACLS workshop? NAACLS offers a variety of workshops for officials and faculty of NAACLS accredited and approved programs.

This Summer and Fall, NAACLS will offer workshops in Chicago, Illinois and Salt Lake City, Utah. The Educational Methodologies Workshop will review many of the major concepts central to a laboratory instructional program. Educational terms, objectives, instructional and evaluation methods, and their inter-relationship will be central to the workshop. The Preparing for a Site Visit Workshop will familiarize participants with standards of professional behavior for site visitors and the characteristics of a successful site visit. Participants will have the opportunity to identify major issues for discussion.

We examine our workshop offerings and consider ways to improve them on an ongoing basis. We are always interested in knowing your reasons for attending (or not attending) workshops and what topics you would like to see offered in the future. Please contact NAACLS to share your ideas on workshops.
