Introducing New BOD and Committee Members by Megan Hennessy Eggert Meetings and Publicity Coordinator

Following the Board of Directors' Meeting in October, there will be two new members to the Board and four new members to the Clinical Laboratory Sciences Programs Review Committee (CLSPRC). These members are:

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

David D. Gale, PhD Dean and Professor of the College of Allied Health and Nursing at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky. He succeeds Fred Pairent, PhD, as the Four Year Educator.

Lucille Contois, MA, MT(ASCP) Program Director for several clinical laboratory science programs (including CLS/MT and CLT/MLT) at Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan. She succeeds Barbara Douglas as the MLT Practitioner/Educator.

CLSPRC

Jane Hudson, PhD, MT(ASCP)SM, CLS(NCA) Professor and Program Director at the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. She is a new CLS/MT Educator.

Hemant Karnik, PhD, MT(ASCP), CLS(NCA), CC(NRCC) CLS/MT Program Director at Howard University in Washington, DC. He is a new CLS/MT Educator.

John H. Landis, MS, MT(ASCP) CLT/MLT Program Director at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan. He is a new CLT/MLT Educator.
