NAACLS Seeks Board and Committee Members by Megan Hennessy Eggert Meetings and Publicity Coordinator

NAACLS is seeking nominations (including self-nominations) for service on the Board of Directors and Review Committees. The following positions are open, although in some cases the incumbent may be eligible for re-election:

Board of Directors

ASCLS Representative
ASCP Representative

CLSPRC

CLS/MT Educator
HT/HTL Educator
Four-Year Educator

PARC

(2) Phlebotomy Educators
Clinical Assistant Educator
Member-at-Large

APRC

Pathologist Educator

The Board of Directors functions as the governing unit of NAACLS, grants final accreditation and approval actions and formulates NAACLS policy. Review Committee members conduct the accreditation/approval activities and make accreditation/approval recommendations to the Board of Directors.

All appointments are for four-year terms and begin following the Board of Directors' meeting in September 2001. Interested individuals should contact Dr. Olive M. Kimball, Chief Executive Officer, by February 1, 2001.
