Introducing new NAACLS members by Megan Hennessy Eggert Meetings & Publicity Coordinator

We are very pleased to welcome three new members to NAACLS.

Margie Scott, MD, has been elected to the CLSPRC to complete the term of David Leech, DO, who served for two years as a pathologist. Dr. Scott is Associate Professor of Pathology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and Assistant Chief, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare system. Margie Scott has been a very, very recent addition to the NAACLS CLSPRC. Therefore, we do not have a photo available for publication.

Harriet B. Rolen-Mark, MA, MT (ASCP), is the new ASCP Representative to the Board of Directors. Ms. Rolen-Mark is the Professor and Chair of the Department of Clinical Laboratory Science and the Associate Dean of the College of Health Professions at the State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. She succeeds Robin Helmuth, MD, who served on the Board as an ASCP Representative for two years.

Lydia E. McMorrow, PhD, ABMG, is the new Cytogenetics Educator on the Programs Approval Review Committee. Dr. McMorrow is the Program Director of the Cytogenetics Program in the College of Health Professions at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. McMorrow succeeds Betty Dunn, MS, CLSp(CG) who was elected to the Board of Directors as the AGT Representative.
