NAACLS to Conduct Workshop in Chicago

NAACLS will conduct "Understanding Standards in Accreditation" on Thursday, July 17, 2003, in Chicago, Illinois, from 7:30am-2:00pm. The workshop will be held at the Clarion Barcelo Hotel and will be presented by Dr. Shauna Anderson, Secretary, NAACLS Board of Directors.

Upon completion of the workshop, the participant should be able to:

1. List the steps in the self-study process.
   
2. Discuss each Standard and using the Guide to Accreditation, determine what information should be contained in the Self-Study Report and what should be available for the Site Visit.
   
3. Discuss the most cited Standard and review education methodology as it applies to this Standard.
