NAACLS Workshop Draws Many Participants
|
Nearly 90 registrants attended the recent NAACLS workshop, "Understanding Standards in Accreditation", at the Clinical Laboratory Educators Conference in Louisville, Kentucky on February 22. The workshop was presented by Dr. Shauna Anderson. Dr. Anderson currently serves as the President of the NAACLS Board of Directors and is employed as Program Director of the Clinical Laboratory Sciences Program at Brigham Young University. She has also served as a volunteer member of the NAACLS Clinical Laboratory Sciences Program Review Committee. This interactive workshop gave participants opportunities to apply the principles presented by critiquing behavioral objectives and examination questions and performing other exercises in the preparation of educational materials. Participants included educators with years of accreditation experience in addition to new program directors and faculty.
