Introducing New Board and Committee Members

Hugh W. Bonner, PhD, is the Dean at SUNY Upstate Medical University, College of Health Professions, in Syracuse, New York. Dr. Bonner is a Four-Year Educator on the Board of Directors.

Jerry A. Phipps, BS, BHS, PA(ASCP), is an Associate in Pathology at the University of Florida - College of Medicine in Gainesville, Florida. Mr. Phipps is the AAPA Representative to the Board of Directors, and he previously served as Chair of the NAACLS Affiliated Professions Review Committee (APRC) from 1994-1998, 2001-2007.

Karen A. Brown, MS, MT(ASCP), is the Program Director/Associate Professor, Department of Pathology, at the University of Utah/Salt Lake Community College in Salt Lake City, Utah. Ms. Brown is a CLT/MLT Educator on the Review Committee for Accredited Programs (RCAP).

James E. Daly, Med, MT(ASCP), is the Program Director of the CLT and Phlebotomy Programs at Lorain County Community College in Elyria, Ohio. Mr. Daley is a CLT/MLT Educator on the Review Committee for Accredited Programs (RCAP), and he previously served on the NAACLS Programs Approval Review Committee from 1998-2006.

Maribeth L. Flaws, PhD, SM(ASCP), is an Assistant Professor, Department of Clinical Laboratory Science, at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Flaws is a DMS Educator on the Review Committee for Accredited Programs (RCAP).

Kathy Kenwright, MS, MT(ASCP)SI, MP(ASCP), is an Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee. Ms. Kenwright is a DMS Educator on the Review Committee for Accredited Programs (RCAP).
